8.55 am – Bell rings for the start of the day
10.30 am – Playtime – all children
10.45 am – Lessons begin
12.00 pm – Lunchtime – We have hot lunches brought in daily by Nourish (Northampton County Council hot food provider). These are ordered one week in advance.
12.55 pm – Bell rings for afternoon lessons
2.15 pm – Reception and Key Stage 1 playtime
3.15 pm – School finishes
Absences
If your child is unwell please make sure you call the office on 01327 340758 before 9.00 am. Press 1 to leave an absence message – please leave the child’s name, class and a short reason for absence. Please do this on a daily basis until your child is back in school.
Clubs
Before school we have Hotshots Basketball and Dodgeball. Please ask at the office for more information on click to link to the independent website.
After school clubs change each term, in the past year we have had:
Football, hockey, cricket, rounders, cross country, art, samba.

Music Lessons
In association with Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Trust (NMPAT) we have visiting muisc teachers in Keyboard (piano), Guitar, Violin and Woodwind (flute, clarinet etc). For more information and cost of lessons please contact the office.
School Uniform
At the Bliss Charity School we wear royal blue jumpers and cardigans with navy, grey or black trousers/dresses or skirts. Our jumpers/cardigans and polo shirts can be ordered from the school office with our logo on (or see ‘Useful Documents‘ on the website)
PE Kit – a PE kit is needed in school for the whole week as teachers occasionally do an extra PE lesson if the weather is nice. In the PE kit should be a pair of shorts, a t-shirt, a pair of socks (especially if your child wears tights to school) and a pair of plimpsols or trainers. In colder weather they should also have a tracksuit / jumper and tracksuit trousers. ALL ITEMS MUST BE NAMED.
